The need to make headlines by posting an “exclusive” gets bothersome some times. These articles always have “people with familiarity of the situation…”, “our sources indicate that…”, “according to analyst…”. It gets even worse when they have no record at all (but claim they do if they get at least one kind of close). It’d be like me saying “The new Pope might be gay, according to people familiar with the Vatican. Officials have not responded to our requests for more information regarding this matter.”

I wouldn’t respond to myself either.
